What is perinatal mental health?

Perinatal means the period “all around” birth. It includes trying to conceive, pregnancy, and the first year postpartum.


 

What is PMH-C?

PMH-C is a certification in perinatal mental health through Postpartum Support International. The certification requires practice, education, and training requirements in addition to a Pearson VUE exam.


 

What insurance do you accept?

New Mexico insurances accepted: Lyra, Presbyterian, and NM Medicaid (Presbyterian and Blue Cross).

Oregon insurances accepted: Lyra, Moda, PacificSource, and Samaritan Choice.

With all other insurances I am considered an out of network provider. I can provide you with a superbill for possible reimbursement from your insurance plan.


 

Do you offer a sliding scale fee?

Yes, I have a few sliding scale spots. Please inquire to ask about availability.


 

Accepted payments

I accept electronic payment (credit, debit, HSA or FSA cards) via a HIPAA compliant platform.

 

 

Are sessions in person or online?

Currently, I only see clients via telehealth. I use a HIPAA compliant telehealth platform.

 

 

Where are you located?

My practice is located in Santa Fe, NM. However, I am licensed in both New Mexico and Oregon, and can see clients located in either state.

 

 

Do you see men?

While I primarily see self-identified women, I also see men who have a partner struggling with a prenatal mood disorder and men who are struggling with infertility. Additionally, male partners/family members are welcome to join sessions with the consent of the client.
